Biography:
Abdollah Mehrpanahi was born in Kurdistan province in Iran. He graduated from Shahid Rajaee Training University, Tehran, Iran with M.Sc. and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. Regarding his Ph.D. financial support, He has spent several years in MAPNA Company as a practical research engineer in thermodynamic-based dynamic modeling and control of various types of power generation gas turbines. In both MSc and Ph.D., He was selected as an outstanding researcher student among all graduate students of SRTTU (2012 and 2017). He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers in the field of energy systems modeling, optimization, and control. In recent years, besides teaching in SRTTU and technical schools, He has focused on power plant performance simulator, full range fast response dynamic modeling, nonlinear and linear systems identification, and classical and robust controller design. He is interested in research in modeling, analysis, and extracting the optimal structure of fossil fuel and renewable energy systems via energy, exergy, and exergo-economic objective functions. He interested in:
 - Energy Systems Modeling and Analysis (Dynamic and Steady-State)
 - Energy Systems Optimization (Energy, Exergy, and Economic)
 - Energy Policy (Design and Prediction Based Analysis)
 - Energy Systems Identification and Control (Classic and Robust)
