Haoran Zhao received the B.E. degree from Shandong University, China, in 2005, the M.E. degree from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree from Technical University of Denmark, Denmark, in 2014. He worked as Electrical Engineer with State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), China, in 2005. From August 2010 to September 2011, he worked as Application Developer with DIgSILENT GmbH, Germany. Currently, he is a professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, Shandong University. He is a senior member of IEEE and selected as young professional of Chinese “Thousand Young Talents Plan” in 2017. He is vice chairman of Shandong Energy Research Association. His research interests include modeling and integration study of wind power, control of energy storage system, and voltage stability analysis.
